Clark was raised around guns and has been shooting since he was 8 years old. He grew up hunting and shooting for recreation, and received his Weapons Carry License on his 21st birthday. He possesses a Bachelor's from Gettysburg College and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Georgia.

In 2006, Clark graduated from the police academy at the Athens branch of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. He was first in his class academically and in firearms proficiency (100% accuracy). He continues to work as a full time law enforcement officer / instructor, and has been a supervisor for all but two years of that time. His assignments include:

  • Agency Marksman

Clark has been providing training and consultation services to law enforcement, businesses, and citizens since 2012. He also continues to expose himself to new ideas and instructors to remain up to date on teaching. Currently, he has more than 3,300 hours of formal law enforcement training, as well as thousands of hours spent refining his skills on his own time.
