This 1-day / 10-hour course will not make you into a SWAT operator. This course WILL provide the student with a fundamental skill set for working doorways, hallways, rooms, and transitional spaces. The course will also incorporate threat identification and engagement in low light environments. These are the basic skills necessary when deploying a pistol for home defense, or for successfully evacuating yourself and your loved ones from a critical incident in a public space. These are skills that everyone concerned with their safety should possess.

There will be a low student to instructor ratio, and students will rotate through a series of skill-builders and stations to keep their downtime to a minimum. After an initial assessment, training will be tailored to the student and provide increasingly complex problems to solve. Returning students will see content from previous courses such as Injured Shooter and Low Light in their runs.

Instruction will be given through a combination of classroom lecture, coached runs with instructors, and UTM (paintball munition) scenario training using live role-players. While the course is primarily built around solo movement through a structure, couples or partners may elect to work through the scenarios together.

The facility has three separate structures, to include:
- Classroom with multiple doors and transitions
- Covered shoothouse with residence-sized rooms
- Open-air schoolhouse/office building with large rooms and hallways

There are no prerequisites for this course. Students should possess basic firearms knowledge and be able to demonstrate safe weapon handling.

This 1-day / 10-hour course is designed specifically to address home defense strategies for individuals and families. Course content will focus on identifying defensive positions within the home, developing a Home Safety Plan, and validating that plan through dry runs and Force-on-Force scenarios.

Content will include:

• Developing an understanding of the layout of your home
• Identifying individual and family risk behaviors
• Identifying areas defensible areas, choke points, and indefensible areas
• A detailed discussion of Georgia Law as it relates to self-defense
• Developing a Home Safety Plan
• Creating a list of support equipment such as flashlights, medical products, communication devices, and other items that would be useful in a home defense scenario
• Force-on-Force scenario training

There are no prerequisites for this course. Students should possess basic firearms knowledge and be able to demonstrate safe weapon handling.

Our Private Home Defense Instruction is a mobile service. We will travel to your residence to conduct the training for you and your family. Training includes:

• Site survey/walkthrough of the residence to identify any deficiencies in your security.
• A review of your daily routine and habits to identify behavior-based risks.
• Recommendations for improving home security practices.
• Identifying areas of the house that can be used as the best defensible positions when experiencing a break-in or an invasion of the home.
• A detailed discussion of Georgia Law as it relates to the defense of yourself, others, and your home.
• Developing a Home Safety Plan for the members of the household.
• Creating a list of support equipment such as flashlights, medical products, communication devices, and other items that would be useful in a home defense scenario.
• Rehearsal of the plan with the household members.
• Validating the plan through the use of marking rounds in force-on-force scenarios.
