When Selecting a Course

Our Group Firearms Courses are designed for shooters who own their own equipment and who have a basic or greater understanding of firearms. These classes generally require a student to own his/her own firearm, holster, ammunition, and safety equipment. These courses last approximately 8-12 hours and require 300-500 rounds of ammunition. Each course description will outline the required equipment list and the skill level necessary to succeed in the class.

If you are a new shooter or someone who has little to no prior formal training, we recommend enrolling in our beginner-friendly New Shooter Training, held weeknights at the Athens Gun Club.

If you have a basic understanding of firearms and want to build the fundamental skills needed to use a firearm for defense of yourself and others, please check our Intermediate Workshops.
